OUR STORY
"History with an Artistic Flair"
Jake Rose, a native of New York City, graduated from Drew University with a major in history and a minor in American studies. Inspired by his passion for architecture and photography, Jake created the Color Our Town series of coloring books. This series showcases the beauty and unique character of neighborhoods and small towns across America, highlighting their recognizable locales and historic landmarks.
What makes the Color Our Town series particularly special is Jake's collaboration with artists from around the globe. These artists take Jake's photographs and transform them into exquisite line drawings, each accompanied by Jake's detailed historical descriptions. Founded in 2017, Color Our Town provides customers with a blend of history and art, capturing the essence of both big cities and small towns across America.
In addition to coloring books, Color Our Town Press offers a variety of products, including coloring pencil sets, notecards, postcard sets, and stickers. Jake, along with his dad Ron, is committed to creating a wonderful experience from start to finish.
