Wow of the Day - Color the Mansions

By Preservation Society of Newport County - Preservation Society of Newport County

How would you color The Breakers? Several of the Newport Mansions are featured in the new Color Newport, a coloring book by Jake Rose that offers “24 Places to Visit and Color.” Among them are The Breakers, The Elms, Rosecliff, Marble House and the Chinese Tea House, each beautifully depicted in line drawings that you can fill in with the hues of your choice! Each page also includes information about each house – when it was built, the original owners, the architect, and a general description and history – so you or your youngsters can learn while you color. Jake Rose has authored coloring books on New York, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and Miami. Color Newport, with illustrations by various artists, just came out from Color Our Town Press and is available at our Newport Mansions Stores at Bannister’s Wharf and The Breakers.
